Great kennel. Great for outdoors. It's very strong. The roof can be switched on and off according to the weather. Don't worry about the weather causing your dog to get used to it. My little dog loves it.

We got this doghouse to replace the Dogloo we have had for the past eight years. We are in the middle of redoing our deck and the doghouse we had was unsightly and took up a lot of unnecessary real estate on our porch. This doghouse fits wonderfully and is exactly what we had envisioned. It matches well with the wood on our deck and fits the space well. Set up was very easy. It took us about 45 minutes, going at a very relaxed pace. I recommend a size 10 wrench and a battery powered or ratchet screwdriver to make assembly go faster. All holes are predrilled and/or marked, except we didn’t see any markings for the rear hinges. I just measured to center the roof. Notes for assembly as the pictures don’t notate well for the following: feet caps go on with the deep pocket on the legs, and the interior hinges should bend on the bottom. I really like the hinged top that locks in an upright position to allow easy cleaning and removal of bedding. It will also help on those times when our stubborn doggo decides he doesn’t want to come inside. The raised floor is very nice and will keep rain out and provide much needed air circulation. The legs have adjustable feet for uneven ground. The roof is heavy and covered in solid roofing material for weather resistance. I’m very happy we got this before winter sets in. Our dog stays inside on days when the temperature is under 50 degrees, but he really likes having his warm and dry space to stay out of the rain and wind. He really likes this safe space when those unexpected loud and scary noises like distant gun shots (we live in the country), fireworks, or thunder happen. He’s a happy camper!

This dog house is very well built and time to put together is minimal. The small one is a bit to small for my dog but is a great item

The big, strong kennel arrived yesterday. I put it together this afternoon and all the pieces fit together perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow. It took me about an hour and a half. Then I put the dog's blanket in, threw in some treats, and she was in right away. It may be a while before she can sleep in it, but we're off to a good start. We had a terrible storm this week and this doghouse allowed her bed and blanket to dry completely when I put the dog inside. I highly recommend it.
