So let's be straight here. You are never going to get super fit with this thing. But if you're like me and sit a desk all day it will definitely help you burn calories while you work. It works sitting down but I prefer to stand. Once you master the small step gait it requires it's very comfortable to use. I bought it to pedal under my desk. But I find myself using it every day. It's also whisper quiet so I can do it while I watch TV with my wife or play video games. It's also helped me a lot with some knee joint pain. Over all I'm very happy with this product. The only negative I can think of is you must wear shoes. The peddles' traction was not designed for bare feet.

Glad I chose GOPLUS 2
In my 70s, had a bit of a time dragging the huge oversize 40# box up my steps, across the deck and into house but.....once I got the platform and footforms easily together, I was good to go. This product is fantastic!! Sturdy!! Easy to use! My only regret it that it has no handle to make it easier to move. It is whisper quiet and fits comfortably under my worktable. So very glad I chose the GOPLUS 2.

I'm utterly obsessed with this thing. I'm someone who thinks better on my feet and is constantly pacing due to anxiety, but both my jobs require me to sit either in front of a screen or at a craft bench. Even when I moved my operations out to the garage so I could pace while I thought, I'd still have to stop walking in order to type at my computer or work on a project. This was the solution to the problem. Combined with a standing desk, I have traveled an obscene amount of miles on this thing (sometimes upwards of 20,000 - 30,000 steps a day) while I'm doing my work, and it not only helps me get in my exercise during those hours, it's also helped me tackle the anxiety that I used to get from not being able to fidget while I worked. I finally, FINALLY get to pace AND get done what I need to get done.
