I’ve been wanting a hot tub ever since I bought my house over 10 years ago. But the ones I looked at required breaking my concrete and wiring 220 line to the backyard, not to mention the total over is in the thousands. I found this inflatable one that uses a regular 110v outlet so I gave it a shot. It’s a fraction of the price so I didn’t have too high expectations at the beginning, but it turns out to be exactly what we wanted. It small enough that I can drain it and put it away if we are not using for long time. But it’s just big enough for my family of 4. We’re pretty small so it was just enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids. My kids love the hot tub. The bubble blast is enough and the jet spray can bubble the entire area. They’ve been using it daily every since I set it up. The setup was pretty easy. It took me and my daughter about 30 minutes to setup. The machine can inflate it pretty fast, then I swap out the connectors so all 3 matches directly to the inlets and outlets. It came with an extra filter and few extra caps and tubes. The machine did take awhile to heat up from 50F water to 100F though. But it retains the heat well and I didn’t have to heat too long to get it back up to 100F. The set also came with a under layer tarp and a cover for the spa. Overall I’m glad I got this. It’s a fraction of the price and much more manageable than a hard shell hot tub.
It doesn’t get much easier when it comes to setup. I like the fact that it has its own ground tarp to protect the underside. There’s also a cover that latches onto the sides so that it stays clean when we’re not using it. The jet effect is a multitude of tiny rippling bubbles. They’re are no large blasting jets. But it creates a soothing and relaxing sensation as these jets are around the entire tub, not just in a few select areas. Because of the soft sides, it’s comfortable to sit anywhere and lean up against the back. The sides are surprisingly firm (Not like an inflatable pool). But I love that we can take this down and store it. I have no intention of using this during the winter as I would have to heat this continuously. So, I can remove this and store it and setup in the basement or store it until spring.
I haven't wanted to spend the sheer amount of money that a full spa would cost me but me and the hubby desperately need something bigger than our 1950's bathtub to try and soak the 16 hr shift days out of our aging bones lol. This was also on par in price with some of the others, but I liked these features and the look of it the best. It comes with everything I needed to set it up, plus additionals like a floater and extra filters and attachable pillows to rest our heads on. We have it outside for the fall right now on some pieces of mine belt and it's staying right at the temperature we have set it to within a degree. It does drop a little bit when we first get in, but it does compensate pretty quickly. The unit itself has a nice sleek design and long enough hoses not to be right on top of of the inflatable. It fits me and the hubby very nicely together and I am 5'7 and he is 5'10 and we still have plenty of room when we sit in it. The sides are thick and there is no falling apart or bending when we get a little vigorous heh.
In my tests, it's safe, doesn't leak and heats up fast. It can accommodate 4 people. It is recommended.
This hot tub is a very good inflatable tub. Use once a week. I don't have any problem with it heating up, it heats up as described. It only heats about 2 degrees per hour, is easy to install and use, and the hot tub can reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit, while the outdoor temperature is between 65 and 20 degrees. If you open the nozzle, it lowers the temperature by six degrees, because the mixture of cold air and bubbles outside cools the water. For less than $500, that's all I can ask for. In return, I get to bask in the stars in a cozy hot tub in my own home. It also relieves some pain. It's a good place to stretch. I'm glad I bought this hot tub.
