1800W Stainless Steel Infrared Cooktop with Non-slipping Feet and Adjustable Temperature

I received a flat-top griddle that covers my entire stove as a Christmas gift from my husband. Our research indicated that a necessary accessory with one is to have a stand alone electric burner so that you still have burners available while cooking on the griddle. I looked at several dozen in a wide range of prices. I decided to go with this one based on the price point and the aesthetic, knowing that there really aren’t a lot of bells and whistles needed for my purpose. Here are my notes from the first use: It’s attractive. The top is sleek and the ceramic eyes are smooth and clean easily. There aren’t a lot of nooks and crannies that would be difficult to clean. It is definitely one of the more attractive options I’ve looked at. It’s lightweight. At just over 6 pounds, I can easily maneuver it around and put it up and get it down from the top of the refrigerator which is it’s home when not in use (much easier than moving the 30 pound griddle on and off the stove) It’s sturdy. The feet are level and the manufacturing quality is solid. There is no wobble when it is placed on my counter. It heats quickly. Within a short time, the eye heat up to 600 degrees. It’s safe. Although it heats quickly and to a high temperature on the cooking surface, the rest of the unit keeps at a safe range so you won’t burn yourself when touching it. The feet keep the unit safely off my counter - and as can be seen from my photo, the space between the unit and countertop only got to about 100 degrees. I won’t have to worry about scorch or heat marks on any counter I use it on. The area around the front, sides, and back were hot, but not near hot enough to burn someone who may accidentally touch it. The controls stayed at a comfortable temperature and did not heat up. The entire unit cools within a reasonable time. Besides using along with my griddle, this will be handy to have for picnics, parties, and gatherings where a stove isn’t readily available, where I want to serve in another spot or room, or when more eyes are required. Overall, I’m really happy with this and look forward to using it often.

I can cook the food when I watch tv . Really convenient.One time cook good for two people, my wife like it so much.
