Beautiful sturdy wood product!
The natural wood is a lovely color with natural markings. The finish is smooth. I bought 2 to replace a daybed for a guest room placing them end to end. The natural color and style will go well with the coastal theme I intend to do in this room. Love them!

Much better than expected!
It's not often I'm surprised by good quality for low cost products. I searched a lot for a low cost twin frame that wouldn't be cheap and flimsy like 99.9% of the cheap ones you see on Amazon. This was the most solid one I found with large thick wood legs (not thin flimsy legs like most) and claimed to be actual solid rubber wood. It came with no instructions, but was easy and obvious how to assemble, which took very little time by myself. The dark brown color is perfect and matching the other bedroom furniture. It feels and looks great, not cheap looking. Don't be worried about buying this one, you won't find a more solid bed frame at this price. Other manufacturers could take a lesson from whomever was in charge of this one.
