It looks very sturdy! I was worried when I ordered it about how it would handle high winds, but now that I feel how sturdy it is, I feel confident that it will stand up sturdily and tie down the canopy. No major issues. My main issue is with the instructions. They cram so many steps into one that it's almost impossible to see the exact fine details that need attention when assembling. The design team should really think about this and stand out from the others. The canopy reviews for every brand I researched before purchasing had almost the same complaints. But the most important thing is the product itself, and this canopy I highly recommend.

- Q:How does it hold up in 60 mph gusts of winds? It can get very windy.. Do I need to anchor the pergola?A:This product has 157 lbs and will not be easily blown away by the wind, and there are ground spikes at the bottom to hold the product in place.
